楽しいアート作品を世界に発信 ! Let's share your fun artwork with the world!

2024年1月14日(日)にワークショップ「楽しいアートプログラムを世界に発信しよう」を富士河口湖町の山梨県立世界遺産センターで開催しました。
同町の当クラブへの委託事業で、町の小学生が対象。午前の部の笠井樹子先生による「自由な感性で楽しむアートセラピー」には、14人の小学生と保護者の皆さん10人ほどが参加。初めに自分の好きな絵を描いたあと、隣り合わせの4人ずつのグループ間で絵を交換し、それぞれが付け足して絵を完成。最初に自分が描いた絵とどう違ったかについて意見を交換し、「自分の絵と全然違った」「もっと上手になっていた」と、共同作業の楽しさ、大切さを感じ取っていました。
続いて、各自に画用紙が渡され、笠井先生が「新年をどんな年にしたいのか、みんなで話し合いながら、思いを絵にしましょう」と指示、めいめいが、富士山や干支の龍、パーティーの様子などを色彩豊かに描いた絵を壁に並べて展示。「楽しい1年にしたい」「6年生になったら1年生に優しくしたい」などのタイトルもつけ、全員でそれぞれの作品を鑑賞しました。

２部の吉田チエ子先生による「押し花アートで富士山からメッセージ」の部には、20人の小学生と保護者の約10人が参加。正面のテーブルに並べられた、カラフルな色や形の押し花の素材から、子どもたちが好きなものを選んでミニ色紙に張り付ける作業をしました。
子どもたちは、植物の色合いや不思議な形を活かし、思い思いの発想で、魚が泳ぐ絵柄や森の妖精、お花畑、お祭りなどをテーマにした「童話のような押し花絵」 作りに真剣なまなざしでチャレンジしました。でき上がった作品は、先生に透明のシールを貼ってもらい、児童が後ろに作品名と名前を記入。最後に参加者全員が作品を持って記念撮影し、作品は各自、記念に持ち帰りました。
子どもたちは「いろいろな色や形の押し花があって、作るのが楽しかった」「機会があればもう一度、別の作品も作りたい」などとそれぞれの思いを口にしていました。吉田先生は、「大人では思いつかない子どもたちの発想にいつも驚いています。作るのも早いのに、完成度も高くて素晴らしい」と述べていました。

On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the workshop "Let's send a fun art program to the world" was held at the Yamanashi Prefectural World Heritage Center in Fujikawaguchiko Town. This project is commissioned to our club by the town, and targets elementary school students in the town.

14 elementary school students and about 10 of their parents participated in the morning session, ``Enjoy art therapy with free sensibility,'' led by teacher, Kiko Kasai. After first drawing their favorite picture, they exchanged pictures between groups of four people next to each other, and each group added on to the picture to complete the picture. They exchanged opinions on how the drawing was different from their own drawings at the beginning, and the students said, ``It was completely different from my drawing,'' and ``I was even better at it,'' showing the joy and importance of collaborative work.

Next, each person was given drawing paper, and Ms. Kasai instructed them, ``Let's all talk about what kind of year we want the new year to be and draw our thoughts.'' Each student drew pictures of Mt. Fuji, the Chinese zodiac dragon, and scenes from the party. Colorful paintings are displayed on the walls. The chrdren added titles such as ``I want to make this year a fun year'' or ``When I become a 6th grader, I want to be kind to our 1st graders,'' and everyone viewed their works.

The second part, ``Message from Mt. Fuji through pressed flower art,'' by teacher Chieko Yoshida, was attended by 20 elementary school students and about 10 parents. The children selected their favorite pressed flowers from the colorfully colored and shaped pressed flowers lined up on the table in front of the room and pasted them onto mini colored paper.

The children took full advantage of the colors and mysterious shapes of plants and used their own creative ideas to create ``fairy tale-like pressed flower paintings'' with themes such as pictures of swimming fish, forest fairies, flower gardens, and festivals. The teacher affixed a transparent sticker to the finished work, and the students wrote the name and title of the work on the back.

At the end, all participants took a commemorative photo with their work, and each person took the work home as a souvenir. The children said things like, ``It was fun to make pressed flowers in a variety of colors and shapes,'' and ``If I had the chance, I would like to make other works again.'' Ms. Yoshida said, ``I'm always surprised by the ideas that children come up with that adults would never have thought of. It's amazing how quickly they make it, and how well it's completed.''
